A little over five years ago, Pedro was stuck in a dead-end job, taking orders from others. "I was a factory worker for nine years," recalls Pedro. "My salary started at $8.50 an hour. After nine years on the job I was only making $13.50 an hour." Even though Pedro had been using Herbalife's weight-loss products since 1987, he never really considered working the business. That changed, however, after he attended an Herbalife Opportunity Meeting.

 "I was skeptical at first, but a gentleman at the meeting challenged me to talk to my friends about the products to see if I would sell any," Pedro remembers. "I took his challenge with me to work the next day, and I sold products to one person a day for three days in a row. The third person I sold to had orders for three other people! I made $350 my first week." Now, Pedro a Millionaire Team member, is fast on his way to greater Herbalife success. In 1998 alone, he earned just over $100,000. "Now I can afford to buy anything I want," he reports. "I can help my relatives. Before, my budget was so tight that when I was sick and missed work, the lost pay was devastating. Now, if I need some extra money, I just go talk to more people or sign up some more Distributors!"
